Block paving also known as brick paving is a commonly used decorative method of creating a path or hardstanding.

Bricks are typically made of concrete or clay, though other composite materials are also used. There are many different laying patterns that can be achieved using block paving and are available in an array or colours styles and different sizes.

The ground is excavated to a level surface followed by the sub base of MOT type 3 (SUDS Compliance) excavation will depend on your existing surface – Once the sub-base is complete it is then compacted together followed by a laying course of cement mix for edge restraints along with a level of 6mm gravel which is also compacted then the Block paving is ready to be laid in the pattern and colour of your choice lastly a 6mm gravel or silver sand will be added on top it is then brushed / compacted into place to add the finishing touch.

All specifications and processes of work are designed for footpaths/patios and residential drives.
